TxIS was formed in 2006 by purchasing the Gamma Group, a high-tech consulting and research company with a decade of experience and relationships with Eastern scientific resources. The Institute relies on its Global Research Alliance of more than 15,000 university professors and research scientists located in over 1,800 departments at 190 universities primarily in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.
