About NOIA

NOIA was founded in 1972 with 33 members. It represents all facets of the domestic offshore, renewable, alternative energy and related industries. Today, they have nearly 300 member companies.

NOIA
  • Facilitates close relationships between its members.
  • Organizes committee and board meetings, as well as member gatherings, this provides direct access to the executive teams of industry leaders.
  • Facilitates high level access to industry related associations.
  • Provides an information flow greatly needed for strategy planning.

Several of NOIA's official functions are:

  • Utilizing the combined power of their members, they advocate issues before Congress and the Executive Branch to influence industry-related policy decisions.
  • Facilitating member access to regulatory and legislative processes.
  • Providing customized advice on policy issues.
  • Impacting policy decisions relating to the offshore industry.
  • Hosting the two largest annual gatherings of senior executives in the offshore energy industry to have its members meet each other, as well as NOIA's leadership, and discuss industry related issues.
  • Organizing extremely high-level speakers at annual gatherings and events.
